Understanding your market segment-Tailor your financial services proposition

In almost every consumer and retail services industry that exists globally, there is a common held assumption that women are different to men. There are phones designed for women, cars which are made with women in mind and even soft drinks and pens which are designed for the female market. Why is it therefore that the financial services industry, which is also one of the few industries were women have successfully reached significant and senior roles, appears to have no systemic understanding of the way that women go about making purchase decisions? Why is it, that in an industry where almost 50 % of the workforce is female, does there appear to have been no attempt to gender match or are there numerous programs for dealing with the differing needs of female clients? This executive seminar examines recent industry research, and considers some thoughts on tailoring financial services offerings to meet this market segment.
• Understand the Market Segment
• Mystery Shopping Outcomes
• Overcome the disconnect in your financial services proposition
